Duties.

Maintenance of all Buildings, Roads and

Bridges, Telephone Service, Lighthouses,

Praya Walls and Piers and execution of

miscellaneous small works, such as

forming and kerbing extensions of roads

making additions or alterations to

existing buildings,

BCC.

Maintenance of all Water Works, (City

and Hill District, Kowloon, Aberdeen,

Shaukiwan and Lai Chi Kok) including

the construction of house services and

issue of accounts for same, the issue

of all accounts quarterly for water

consumed (1,500 meters in use) and

execution of smaller works, such as

extensions of mains, construction of

service reservoirs, &c.

Maintenance of all Sewers, Storm Water

Drains and Nullahs (City and Hill

District', Kowloon, Aberdeen and Shau❤

-kiwan); Connection of house drains to

sewers; construction of extensions to

sewers and drains; re-construction of

gullies and a portion of Extraordinary
